Inseego is making its MiFi PRO M4 mobile router available through T-Mobile for Business, targeting enterprise customers that need secure, managed 5G connectivity for mobile and distributed workforces. Announced on April 9, the offering positions mobile broadband as an extension of the corporate network, rather than a standalone hotspot solution used outside IT oversight.
The MiFi PRO M4 combines 5G WAN connectivity with Wi-Fi 7, along with enterprise features such as VPN passthrough, zero-touch provisioning, and remote diagnostics via Inseego Connect. IT teams can provision devices at scale, monitor performance through remote speed testing, and troubleshoot issues without dispatching personnel. The device also includes a 1 Gbps Ethernet port for wired connectivity and optional external antenna support for deployments in challenging RF environments.
T-Mobile for Business adds the MiFi PRO M4 to its portfolio of managed connectivity solutions, aligning the device with enterprise mobility use cases such as field operations, temporary sites, and backup connectivity. The offering integrates T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network with Inseego’s cloud-based device management platform, providing enterprises with a single procurement and support channel for mobile edge connectivity.

🌐 Analysis: The launch reflects a broader shift in enterprise networking, where mobile connectivity is being integrated into centrally managed edge infrastructure alongside fixed wireless and branch networking. By combining 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and cloud-based management, Inseego is positioning mobile routers as policy-controlled endpoints within enterprise IT environments rather than ad hoc access devices.
Inseego’s expanding portfolio, including its Wavemaker fixed wireless access platforms, points to a converged wireless edge strategy spanning both fixed and mobile deployments. As enterprises adopt more distributed work models and edge-based applications, demand is increasing for solutions that unify connectivity, security, and lifecycle management across all locations and user types.
