Mplify announced the Kylie SDK release, adding Model Context Protocol (MCP) support across its Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) APIs to enable AI-native automation of digital services. The update targets service providers operating across multi-domain, multi-provider environments, where orchestration complexity and interoperability remain key barriers to scaling AI-driven services. The Kylie release extends Mplify’s LSO framework with updated business and operational APIs, including Sonata and Cantata for inter-provider transactions, and Allegro, Interlude, and Legato for provisioning, assurance, and fault management. The release also introduces standardized schemas for IP and Carrier Ethernet services, including Subscriber Ethernet and Access E-Line, enabling consistent product, service, and operations payloads. These updates position LSO APIs as machine-readable interfaces that can integrate directly with AI-driven orchestration, diagnostics, and service lifecycle management platforms.
A central feature of the release is the LSO API Blending Tool, which enables operators to combine LSO APIs with service-specific payloads such as wavelengths, SD-WAN, and data center AI exchange cross-connects. Mplify said the Kylie SDK is accessible through its LSO Marketplace, which provides developer tools, API access, and MCP-to-LSO conversion resources.
