Mavenir Systems has selected RadiSys’ AdvancedTCA (ATCA) and Media Server platforms to increase service development and deployment on carrier grade platforms, which are already accepted by Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile operators globally.
Mavenir and RadiSys also announced a partnership, as part of the RadiSys Alliance Partner Program (RAPP), to deliver an integrated 3G/4G/LTE mobile services platform.

ip.access brought Indoor cellular small cells to Wireless. That work was distinctive enough to lead to its acquisition by Mavenir. The standalone name now passes into the archive — but the team and technology continue inside Mavenir today. One of 430 names here whose work outlived the company.

Google/Alphabet Project Loon solar-powered balloons drifting in the stratosphere (~20 km), steering by rising and falling into different wind layers, relaying LTE from ground stations to phones far below.
