Verizon Introduces Pay-As-You-Go Cloud Computing for SMBs

Verizon introduced a Computing as a Service (CaaS) offering for small and medium-sized businesses. The cloud-based computing service lets customize the server, storage and network resources required to manage a Web presence or enable company applications.

Verizon’s CaaS for SMBs offers built-in VPN security and a web-based console. Enterprise-class integrated service load balancing is available in the cloud, allowing capacity to be share among a company’s virtual server farm.
