Powerwave Introduces 700 MHz LTE Repeaters

Powerwave Technologies introduced its 700 MHz wideband Nexus FT single-input single-output (SISO) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) repeaters for the U.S. market.

The LTE repeater systems can be used for extending the capacity and reach of existing wireless networks. The coverage systems enable end users to leverage 3G and 4G features and functionality as they move throughout coverage areas within indoor environments such as airports, office buildings, shopping malls and subways.

The Nexus FT 700 Public Safety repeater system offers similar benefits and advantages for public safety networks.

Powerwave’s new Nexus FT 700 LTE and Public Safety repeaters can be deployed up to 15 miles from an existing base station while delivering support for multi-protocol wireless systems.
