KDDI America Deploys Juniper for Ethernet Services

June 16, 2009
in Uncategorized
A A

KDDI America has selected Juniper Networks’ Carrier Ethernet solution for entry into the U.S. market. KDDI America will be deploying the MX Series routers in the core of its network and the EX Series Switches for aggregation and customer access. The MX Series is a family of Ethernet Services routers with Layer 2 and Layer 3 features designed for high-performance service providers and enterprises. The EX4200 line of Ethernet switches with Virtual Chassis technology combine the High Availability (HA) and carrier-class reliability of modular systems with the economics and flexibility of stackable platforms by enabling up to 10 interconnected switches to be operated and managed as a single logical device. Financial terms were not disclosed.
