ADTRAN Teams with MetaSwitch on Legacy to SIP and IMS

A A

ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 Multiservice Access and Aggregation Platform and Total Access 300 Series Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) now fully support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for interoperation with the MetaSwitch call agent and media gateway.

These new capabilities provide customers with proven TDM interoperability, offering the ability to support existing networks, as well as advanced VoIP and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architectures.

The ADTRAN Total Access 5000 is a carrier-class multiservice access and aggregation platform that bridges the gap between existing and next-generation networks. Its all-Ethernet architecture allows service providers to deploy both residential and business services across an optimized and converged network architecture.
