Tellabs 1100 Multiservice Access Platform Gains RUS Certification
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service (RUS) granted program acceptance to the Tellabs 1100 Multiservice Access Platform (MSAP) for copper and fiber services. RUS acceptance makes the Tellabs 1100 MSAP family available through tailored government funding and low-cost loans.
In addition to the Tellabs 1100 MSAP, the Tellabs 1000 Multiservice Access Series and the Tellabs 8800 Multiservice Router also have RUS acceptance. Recently, Tellabs announced contracts with providers that will bring advanced broadband services to users in rural sections of eight states.
