ARRIS announced a major new contract to supply Korea’s Hanaro Telecom with ARRIS Cadant C4 Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS) as part of Hanaro’s next-generation large capacity CMTS upgrade. The contract was won by CommVerge Solutions , ARRIS’ Korean Value-Added Reseller (VAR. ARRIS expects that deliveries of the Cadant C4 will be made over a three-year period. Hanaro Telecom is Korea’s second-largest broadband telecommunications provider, with total subscribers of 2.8 million.
