Teknovus announced its new Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) Optical Network Unit (ONU) chip, which is in full production. The new Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) device provides two service ports including a gigabit User Network Interface (UNI), and hardware-based service-contract enforcement for advanced FTTH networks. The device is currently shipping.
