Canada's SaskTel Selects Alcatel's Ethernet Service Switch

SaskTel, the incumbent carrier in Saskatchewan, Canada, will use the Alcatel 7450 Ethernet Service Switch (ESS) and Alcatel 5620 Service Aware Manager for a converged packet transport network with IP/MPLS as the core protocol. Financial terms were not disclosed.
