8×8 began offering unlimited worldwide calling to other Packet8 users and subscribers for a one time equipment purchase of $75 for a Desktop Terminal Adapter (DTA-310). Upon registering, users will be given a unique Packet8 telephone number so they can make and receive calls from any Packet8 subscriber or partner phone number. The service includes voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, conference calling and unlimited talk time.
