THUS plc has selected CIENA’s ONLINE Edge Multiservice Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) platform for LAN extension services marketed as “City Ethernet.” The service scales to Gigabit speed. THUS also offers a “National Ethernet” service spanning the UK. Financial terms were not disclosed.
