ADC introduced a 1×64 splitter module that allows carriers to double the number of customers served from a single splitter and reduce the feeder fibers needed for the network. The new splitter is designed for all indoor and outdoor applications in FTTX networks and fits into a centralized splitting passive optical network (PON) architecture. 
The 1×64 splitter is designed using ADC’s patented OmniReach plug-and-play module that reduces installation and service turn-up time. Additionally, the new module offers improved performance with low insertion loss and meets both Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 standards.
