Belgium's Telenet Selects Motorola's CMTS

Telenet, one of the leading broadband network operators in Belgium, selected the Motorola Broadband Services Router (BSR) 64000 CMTS for its ExpressNet project. Motorola’s BSR 64000 is a carrier-class broadband services router and CMTS designed for large-scale deployment of EUR-DOCSIS 1.1/2.0 and PacketCable based services and applications. It includes MPLS and VPN capabilities for delivering commercial services. Telenet currently offers analog TV services to its 1,560,000 subscribers, as well as broadband Internet and telephony services to residential and business customers. The rollout of the Motorola CMTS will be completed by the end of the year.
