Canada's TELUS to Deploy Siemens WLAN DSL Gateway

TELUS will deploy Siemens’ Gigaset SE567 WLAN DSL Gateway as an in-home networking solution for its broadband customers.

The Gigaset SE567 Gateway combines an ADSL 2+ Modem, four 10/100 Ethernet ports, one which may be configured as a WAN interface, as well as 802.11b/g WiFi capabilities with an “Intellisteer” smart antenna with beam forming technology in a single product. The Gateway also includes security features such as a configurable ICSA-compliant stateful inspection firewall with Denial of Service (DoS) protection. The gateway also features a QoS subsystem incorporating separate QoS classifier, Queue manager and scheduler.
