CenturyLink-Qwest Expect Deal to Be Completed this Week

The Public Utility Commission of Oregon (PUC) approved the pending merger between CenturyLink and Qwest Communications, marking the final approval needed to complete the merger. The companies expect to close the merger and combine operations on April 1, 2011.
