Cisco Would Welcome Nortel Partnership

Cisco Systems chief executive John Chambers was widely quoted by news sources as open to the idea of a strategic partnership with Nortel Networks. Speaking at the 2004 Canadian Telecom Summit in Toronto, Chambers said Cisco is more inclined to building partnerships than pursuing large acquisitions.
