Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and ST-Ericsson showcased an end-to-end TD-LTE solution in collaboration with China Mobile. The companies also showcased multimedia applications such as video streaming and web browsing, demonstrating TD-LTE’s ability to deliver data-rich services at high-speed for the more technology-savvy consumers of tomorrow. The demonstrations were performed using a Sony Ericsson device embedded with ST-Ericsson’s M700 TD-LTE modem and a voice over LTE client.
Ericsson expects TD-LTE to be commercially available for consumers in latter half of 2011.http://www.ericsson.com
