Ericsson will supply its telephony softswitch to upgrade the fixed-core network of ONI, one of Portugal’s leading telecommunications operators. Ericsson will also provide managed services for the network.
Ericsson will also be responsible for three years for the day-to-day management of ONI’s network, providing a range of operational and maintenance activities. Financial terms were not disclosed.
