Hanaro Telecom Deploys Force10

South Korea’s Hanaro Telecom will deploy Force10 Networks’ E-Series switch/routers for 10 Gigabit Ethernet routing and Gigabit Ethernet aggregation services. Hanaro Telecom will use the equipment to extend its IP service offerings to include native Gigabit and 10 Gbps connectivity. About 30% of South Korea’s 10 million broadband subscribers are Hanaro customers. CommVerge Solutions will provide integration services for the project. Financial terms were not disclosed.
