Intel Announces PCI Card VoIP Adapter

Intel introduced a PCI card Phone Adapter positioned as a complete Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) solution, including hardware, software and services.

The Intel 600SM PCI Phone Adapter allows PC OEMs and system integrators to deliver a VoIP solution for small businesses and residential subscribers. Intel said the ATA is compatible with VoIP services from engin (Australia), Packet8, Skype, and yak.
