LightSquared Signs EATEL — First ILEC Customer

EATEL, a privately-owned communications company based in Gonzales, Louisiana, has signed a wholesale agreement with that will allow EATEL to offer its subscribers high-speed wireless data and voice services using LightSquared’s nationwide 4G-LTE network.

EATEL is the first Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) to sign on to LightSquared’s network. The deal will enable EATEL’s customer base in local communities of Louisiana to benefit from LightSquared’s wireless broadband service.
