NEC's BIGLOBE Deploys Force10

BIGLOBE, NEC’s wholly-owned flagship Internet service provider, has deployed the Force10 Networks’ E-Series 10 Gigabit Ethernet platform. The equipment is being used to accommodate a flood of peer-to-peer traffic that has overwhelmed its current network. The companies described the deployment as an upgrade for BIGLOBE’s current 10 Gigabit Ethernet network.
