New Edge Networks, the business communications unit of EarthLink plans to begin selling through selected communications network providers its service for prioritizing business data communications traffic over DSL access using up to five MPLS classes of service.
New Edge said it is evaluating strategic partnerships based on sales volume commitments, distribution models and market focus.
To introduce MPLS over DSL, New Edge installed carrier-class gateway switches at various regional aggregation points around the country.
