NextHop Enhances its Routing Code Suite

NextHop Technologies, a start-up based in Mountain View, California, announced the addition of four new protocols to its routing software code suite. The new protocols include IGMPv3 (Internet Group Management Protocol – version 3), PIM-SSM (Protocol Independent Multicast, Source Specific Multicast), and PIM-DM (Dense Mode); and OSPF v3. NextHop has already shipped three IPv6 routing protocols. NextHop also features an XML Routing API.
