NTT Com Launches Security Log Management Services

October 16, 2008
in Uncategorized
A A

NTT Communications has begun offering a package of security-log management services covering the monitoring, operation and management of security-related equipment of global corporate customers using its “Arcstar” virtual private network (VPN) services.

The package is the first in a series of new security services to be offered on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform managed by security experts at NTT Com’s Security Operation Center. The center will help customers to strengthen their secure intranets for better IT governance, as well as save security costs through outsourcing.

The basic services of the package include 24/7 alive monitoring, the generation and storage of security logs, analysis and statistical reporting based on these logs, and 24/7 customer support. The security data are collected via a closed network in a secure environment, and then the logs are securely stored in NTT Com data centers.

Optional services include real-time notification of hazardous events, rental of security equipment and a service package covering the total operation of equipment.http://www.ntt.co.jp
