Orange Business Services’ newly launched suite of SIP multimedia services is based on Nortel’s technology. The new “Business Together” service, which will first become available for corporate French customers this month, is the result of a strategic partnership formed between France Telecom and Nortel in 2004.
“Business Together” from Orange Business Services unifies telephony, collaboration, instant messaging and multimedia communications, making them all accessible from a computer, an IP phone or a mobile smartphone.
Orange’s “Business Together” services include Nortel’s SIP Multimedia Communication Server 5200 (MCS 5200) which seamlessly integrates voice with video, collaboration, presence and reachability services. The solution leverages SIP.
