Palo Alto Networks announced collaboration with IBM and the UK Home Office’s Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP) to deliver security for the Emergency Services Network (ESN). IBM UK leads the multi-year project, which aims to establish a secure, modern platform for voice and data communications across police, fire, and ambulance services in Great Britain.
The ESN platform will integrate Palo Alto Networks’ Precision AI-powered security solutions for comprehensive protection across mobile networks, cloud environments, and security operations centers (SOC). The collaboration includes 24/7 cyber incident response services, digital forensic capabilities, and the Unit 42® Incident Response Services. The goal is to enhance data sharing and collaboration among emergency services while protecting critical national infrastructure from evolving cyber threats.
