#Private5G: Enterprise WLAN Market Remains Hot

Anyone considering the prospects for Private 5G must look first at the Enterprise LAN market, which remains hot after years of growth. Major technology upgrade cycles are ahead to WiFi advocates too. Siân Morgan, Research Director from Dell’Oro Group explains:

  • The Enterprise WLAN market is experiencing a massive expansion with over 40% year-over-year revenue growth for three consecutive quarters. This growth is driven by the increased importance of wireless LAN in operations due to COVID-19, new use cases in various sectors, and pent-up demand due to previous supply constraints.
  • Enterprises are now getting access to game-changing features in wireless LAN equipment. These include access to the new 6 GHz band for improved performance and AI Ops features that automate network operations functions, leading to significant reductions in trouble tickets and improved network performance.
  •  A new offering called Campus Network as a Service (NaaS) is emerging. This service bundles the design, performance guarantee, equipment cost, software cost, and AI operations features into a recurring fee, making Wi-Fi as easy as electricity for enterprises.

Join Siân as she dives deep into these trends, providing valuable insights for anyone interested in the future of enterprise wireless LAN.
