Russia's MTS Selects Alcatel-Lucent's IP/MPLS for Mobile Backhaul

Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems has selected Alcatel-Lucent’s IP/MPLS-based mobile backhaul solution for supporting 3G mobile broadband. Alcatel-Lucent will deploy its 7750 Service Router (SR) and 7705 Service Aggregation Router (SAR) along with the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 Service Aware Manager (SAM) in line with related services including design, installation and commissioning for full turnkey project implementation.
