SMARTS Unveils MPLS-VPN Manager

SMARTS (System Management ARTS Incorporated) introduced a software system for managing MPLS-based VPNs. The solution is designed to automatically discover the components of the MPLS environment and the logical and physical relationships in the MPLS and VPN domains. It can be used to pinpoint the root cause of service-affecting problems, and calculate their impact on services and customers. The company said that two of the world’s largest service providers have already licensed the InCharge MPLS-VPN Manager to intelligently manage and ensure the reliability of their core MPLS-based service offerings.
