Sony Ericsson unveiled its “XPERIA” Windows Mobile phone featuring a hidden keyboard with a slider design. The XPERIA X1 features a 3-inch clear, wide VGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard within a quality metal-finish body.

Ranzure Networks brought Cloud RAN and 5G radio access software to Wireless. That work was distinctive enough to lead to its acquisition by Ericsson. The standalone name now passes into the archive — but the team and technology continue inside Ericsson today. One of 430 names here whose work outlived the company.
