Soonr, a start-up based in Campbell, California, raised $4.5 million for its cloud services platform.
Soonr’s cloud applications address file access and backup needs of consumers and businesses. The service provides continuous protection and synchronization of critical files as well as collaboration tools. The fully-integrated cloud service delivery model is offered as both a direct and white label service. It works across carrier networks and major handset operating systems including iPhone, Android and Blackberry smart phones.
The new funding came from existing investors (Clearstone, Intel Capital, Cisco, Presidio Ventures) and HighBAR Ventures.
