Chunghwa Telecom is conducting a live FDD-LTE trial in Taiwan. 
Nokia Siemens Networks will provide all necessary LTE equipment including core network and base stations, based on commercial platforms, and will also provide related technical support. The trial will showcase Nokia Siemens Networks technology that supports Chunghwa Telecom as it develops the Taiwanese mobile broadband market to enable a new generation of mobile user experiences.
Nokia Siemens Networks said FDD-LTE is relevant for operators who have access to the frequency division duplexing (FDD) spectrum used for these technologies.
