Indiana Fiber Network, a consortium of 18 independent telephone companies and one independently owned CLEC, will deploy Tekelec’s EAGLE 5 Signaling Applications System (SAS) platform to deliver signaling system 7 (SS7) functionality to its operator customers statewide. Tekelec said its EAGLE 5 SAS platform provides a path to support advanced services such as local number portability (LNP), toll-free, calling card, calling name delivery and mobility management. In addition, gateway screening will ensure security by limiting the inbound and outbound network access to authorized usershttp://www.tekelec.com
