Telefónica España 
will launch dual-carrier HSPA+ service under its Movistar brand in Madrid and Barcelona beginning in October. The company is offering Novatel Wireless’ MC545 USB modem as its first device capable of reaching the peak speeds of 42 Mbps over a dual-carrier HSPA+ network.
During 2010, the company has been upgrading its network to HSPA+ to deliver up to 21 Mbps in Spanish cities with populations of over 250,000. These locations will now be upgraded to dual-carrier HSPA+ capability.http://info.telefonica.e
