Telefónica announced a new set of plans and special offers in its home market of Spain aimed at addressing the economic slowdown. Telefónica will offer discounts of up to 50% for residential customers who have become unemployed. There is a limit of EUR 20 per bill and up to a half million customers could benefit from this plan.
