Telefonos de Mexico (Telmex) plans to deploy Siemen’s SURPASS Next Generation Networks solution to support business and residential services. Under the agreement, Siemens will deploy its SURPASS softswitch solution in Mexico and at Telmex’s branches in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and the United States. Implementation has already started in Mexico and will soon be continued in other Latin American countries. Financial terms were not disclosed.
