Verizon Wireless to Issue Refunds for Unintended Mobile Data Sessions

Verizon Wireless will issue credits and/or refunds to some 15 million customers for unintended mobile data sessions over the past few years. The company said most of these billing errors concern unintended data sessions from customers who did not have data plans but whose mobile phones initiated a data or web session by mistake. Most of the affected customers will receive credits or refunds in the $2-6 range.
