Vodafone Germany has agreed to test Huawei’s LTE platform in the Digital Dividend Band. 
Specifically, the agreement calls for a joint initiative to validate LTE’ s application within the Digital Dividend Band (790-862MHz) using Huawei’ s end-to-end LTE solution. The tests will establish LTE’ s ability to provide broadband coverage to rural and urban areas in Germany. It also seeks to prove the system’s compatibility with adjacent technologies such as Digital TV and Digital Radio. The test will be based on Huawei’ s end-to-end solutions and both parties will form a joint working group for conducting the test.
