WSJ: Ericsson Declines BSNL Tender in India

Ericsson declined to participate in a tender by BSNL in India potentially worth up to $451 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. The company reportedly objected to an Indian government requirement that all bidders submit software/hardware codes for inspection. India has become wary that imported telecom equipment may have embedded spyware.
