WSJ: Sprint Ponders 4G Alliance with T-Mobile USA

Sprint’s Board of Directors is evaluating whether to seek a partnership with T-Mobile USA as it considers funding options for its Clearwire joint venture, according to The Wall Street Journal. The article cites sources who estimate that Clearwire will require $4 billion to fully fund the build-out of its network through 2011. Sprint controls a 54% stake in Clearwire.
