China Telecom and Sprint Partner on MPLS Services

China Telecom Americas and Sprint agreed to interconnect their data networks to offer global MPLS-based VPN services. China Telecom Americas, a wholly-owned US-based subsidiary of China Telecom, is an international telecom provider to multinational companies, organizations and international carriers requiring China domestic services and International access to China & Asia Pacific.

This relationship gives China Telecom Americas’ customers access to the full range of capabilities inherent in Sprint’s global Tier 1 IP network with multiple access solutions, enabling Class of Service for data, voice and video. China Telecom Americas’ MPLS VPN network is connected directly to Sprint’s network via network-to-network interfaces (NNI).
