Alcatel has now shipped more than 70 million digital subscriber lines (DSL) to customers worldwide. This achievement represents a 40% increase over the 50 million lines cumulative milestone announced last year.
Alcatel noted that in less than a year, over 35 customers worldwide have committed to deploy its ISAM products, including China Telecom, China Netcom, Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom, Telecom Italia, Telefonica Brazil, Telefonica del Sur (Chile), Telemar, SBC, TELUS, and BellSouth.
