Aware announced solutions conforming to the recently ratified VDSL2 standard. StratiPHY3 is a complete physical instantiation of Aware’s DSL intellectual property in the form of a single digital chip and can be software configured to operate in central office (CO) or customer premise equipment (CPE). It supports all ADSL, ADSL2/2+, VDSL and VDSL2 features and functionality, including long-reach VDSL2 mode, and is the latest addition to the StratiPHY line of fully functional, manufacturable silicon intellectual property (IP) offerings from Aware.
Aware’s StratiPHY3 is the DSL engine in Infineon’s recently announced VINAX central office and customer premises chipsets.
