LSI Logic appointed Abhi Y. Talwalkar as its president and CEO, succeeding Wilfred J. Corrigan, LSI Logic’s founder. Talwalkar, 41, joins LSI Logic from Intel, where he served as vice president and co-general manager of Intel’s Digital Enterprise Group, which is comprised of Intel’s Business Client, Server, Storage and Communications businesses.
