HUNTSVILLE, Ala.– Adtran and Candela Technologies have unveiled a new Wi-Fi 7 testing solution aimed at addressing a critical gap in high-performance Wi-Fi testing. This joint solution combines Adtran’s SDG 8700 Series Wi-Fi 7 technology with Candela’s automated testing platform to enable affordable and effective testing of complex 4×4 MIMO antenna configurations. Initial trials with the SDG 8733 Wi-Fi 7 technology recorded speeds exceeding 8.3 Gbps (8,300 Mbps), underscoring Wi-Fi 7’s potential for ultra-high-speed connectivity. The solution’s modular design further allows for extensive testing across multiple Wi-Fi 7 systems without the traditional high costs, benefiting service providers and Wi-Fi equipment manufacturers alike.
