Bell Labs to establish R&D Center in Ireland

Lucent Technologies’ Bell Labs will establish an R&D center in Ireland in partnership with IDA Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland. The center will be a global headquarters for research into telecommunications and supply chain technologies and will be located at Lucent’s facility in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Plans also call for the establishment of a Centre for Telecommunications Value-Chain-Driven Research (CTVR) to be headquartered at Trinity College, Dublin.
