Bridgewater Offers Prepaid Solution for CDMA2000 1X Services

Bridgewater Systems introduced a prepaid solution for CDMA2000 1X data services. Bridgewater’s software, which integrates with prepaid voice or data billing system and network equipment, provides real-time counting and rating of data traffic (real-time metering). It supports both time-based and byte-based prepaid quotas, provides low balance notification with configurable thresholds, and automatic session redirection to credit recharge facilities. In addition, the offering integrates with applications, such as multimedia messaging services (MMS).
